HashKey secures VASP license in Ireland under MiCA regulations

HashKey Europe, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based HashKey Group, has achieved a significant milestone by securing a VASP license from the Central Bank of Ireland. This approval opens doors to numerous crypto services, including exchanges between fiat and cryptocurrency, and highlights Ireland’s strategic importance in HashKey’s international market expansion.

Under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), crypto firms have until March 2025 to comply with registration requirements. HashKey’s operations extend beyond Ireland, with existing licenses in Bermuda, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Japan, positioning the company for broader global influence. This compliance aims to foster innovation while maintaining regulatory standards.
