Halong Canfoco recently drew attention after reporting significant receivables from Highlands Coffee, amounting to over VND 3 billion. In this context, the Hai Phong Police have initiated a criminal case concerning the transport of pork contaminated with African swine fever, connected to 130 tons of pork that was gathered and processed into Halong’s products. Major retailers such as Bach Hoa Xanh and Saigon Co.op have halted sales of Halong products to ensure consumer safety. Halong has stated that the indicted individuals are not company employees and that the related product batch has been properly handled.
