The Hòa Bình Construction Corporation (HBC) has recently dismissed Nguyen Kim Loan from the position of Chief Financial Officer at her own request, effective September 5. Nguyen Duc Anh, formerly Head of Finance, has been appointed as the new CFO starting September 8. Loan held the CFO position since June 2024 and has a wealth of experience in the company. Duc Anh, born in 1988, graduated in Accounting and Auditing and has been with HBC since 2011.
Additionally, Pham Hong Ha has also been relieved of his duties as Deputy General Director. In the first half of 2025, HBC reported revenue of 1,636 billion VND, down 57.1% year-on-year, with net profit after tax dropping by 93.8% to only 51.37 billion VND. On September 6, HBC participated in the strategic partnership signing ceremony with Gold Coast Holdings for the Gold Coast Vung Tau project, with a total investment of 132 trillion VND.
