Hoa Phat produces 31,800 tons/day in August, up 34% year-on-year

In August 2025, Hoa Phat Group produced 953,000 tons of crude steel, averaging 31,800 tons per day, a 34% increase compared to August 2024. It is projected that in Q4 2025, the crude steel output will reach about 40,000 tons per day. 75% of this output comes from the Hoa Phat Dung Quat integrated steel complex. The blast furnaces of this project are now operational, increasing production to 30,000 tons per day. Hoa Phat manufactures high-quality steel products for various industries including manufacturing, automotive, and shipbuilding. In the first half of 2025, Hoa Phat produced 5.1 million tons of steel, up 17%, and sales reached 5 million tons, a 23% increase year-on-year. Hoa Phat is the largest steel producer in Southeast Asia, with a production capacity target of 16 million tons/year starting in 2026.
