Holding over 322 billion VND in cash, Western Bus Station (WCS) plans to build electric vehicle charging stations

The Board of Directors of Western Bus Station (WCS) is planning to expand its business, particularly by entering the electric vehicle market through investments in building charging stations and related services. This initiative aligns with Ho Chi Minh City’s goals of converting buses to clean energy by 2030 and establishing a large charging network for vehicles. SAMCO, WCS’s parent company, has been tasked with implementing charging stations at key transport hubs, providing WCS with geographical advantages. The electric vehicle charging market is competitive, with major players like V-Green and TMT Auto Co., while the city supports investors financially. According to Q3 2025 reports, WCS has total assets of 322.77 billion VND, no debt, and reported revenue of 129.6 billion VND and profit of 64.9 billion VND, alongside high dividends for shareholders.
