HoSE Capitalization Rises by 690 Trillion Dong in Six Months

In the first half of 2025, the total market capitalization on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) increased by 690 trillion dong, reaching nearly 5.9 million trillion dong, an increase of 13% compared to the end of 2024. Vingroup led the growth with a capitalization increase of nearly 210 trillion dong, reaching 364 trillion dong. Vinpearl (VPL) also made a significant contribution with a capitalization of 170 trillion dong. Vinhomes (VHM) increased by 152 trillion dong, ranking third among the largest companies in the market. However, several large companies experienced a decline in capitalization, with FPT seeing a decrease of nearly 51 trillion dong, becoming the largest dropper with a 23% drop. Vietcombank (VCB) also decreased by nearly 36 trillion dong. Other banks such as HDBank, TPBank, and ACB also witnessed a decline.
