HoSE Market Capitalization Increases by 690 Trillion VND in Six Months: Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong Represents 80%, TCB and Gelex Contributing Over 1 Billion USD; FPT and VCB Decline the Most

The total market capitalization on HoSE has increased by about 690 trillion VND, reaching nearly 5.9 million trillion VND by the end of June 2025, corresponding to a 13% rise compared to the end of 2024. Vingroup leads the gains with an increase of nearly 210 trillion VND, reaching 364 trillion VND, becoming the second-largest company after Vietcombank. Vinpearl also reported a market cap of nearly 170 trillion VND since its listing, while Vinhomes increased by 152 trillion VND to over 316 trillion VND. Companies under Vingroup contributed 549 trillion VND to HoSE’s total market cap. Techcombank had the highest growth among banks with an additional 66 trillion VND. In contrast, FPT saw a capitalization decrease of nearly 51 trillion VND, while Vietcombank dropped nearly 36 trillion VND. Many other banks, such as HDBank and TPBank, also reported declines. BSR and Vinamilk recorded decreases of 16 and 12 trillion VND respectively.
