On October 7, 2025, the Board of Directors of the Electricity Corporation TKV – JSC announced a personnel change. Mr. Ngo The Phiet resigned as Chairman of the Board, with Mr. Nguyen Trung Thuc serving as the acting Chairman. Mr. Ngo Tri Thinh also stepped down as General Director on October 6, 2025, and Mr. Bui Minh Tan was appointed as the new General Director for a term of 5 years. According to the financial report for the first half of 2025, the after-tax profit of the corporation reached nearly 575 billion VND, a 17.02% increase compared to the same period last year, driven by an increase in electricity production and a decrease in financial costs.
