Techcom Securities (TCBS) is preparing for its IPO, which is expected to have a significant impact on securities company stocks. Currently, most stock values have a P/B above 1, with major firms like SSI, HCM, VCI, and VIX ranging from 2-3 times. SHS and VND are below 2. Smaller companies have a P/B of 1-1.5 and are limited in market share and capital. The P/E ratio shows that securities companies vary from 20-40 times; SSI and VIX are lower than the sector average, while HCM and VCI are higher due to reduced profits. TCBS plans to offer shares at 46,800 VND, valuing them at over 97 trillion VND, higher than the industry average. Although valuations are not cheap, growth potential remains positive, especially with Vietnam likely to be upgraded in market status. Securities companies are expected to benefit from this and the growth of the digital assets sector in Vietnam.
