In Q1/2025, Hoa Phat Group (HPG) reported promising business results. The net revenue reached 12.5 trillion VND, up 10% compared to the same period in 2024. Net profit after tax reached 1.8 trillion VND, corresponding to a 15% increase over the previous year. This growth was mainly driven by the recovery in domestic and export steel demand. HPG expanded its market share, focusing on high-quality steel products and developing new production lines. The company also improved operational efficiency and optimized production costs, further enhancing profits. It is expected that HPG may continue to maintain growth momentum in the upcoming quarters, thanks to the recovery of the construction market and large infrastructure projects. However, the company also faces challenges such as rising input material costs and intense competition from industry rivals.
