A Hyperliquid whale’s private key was stolen, causing a financial loss exceeding 20 million USD. The whale’s wallet executed a long order worth 16 million USD and later sold 100,000 HYPE for 4.4 million USD.
Around 17 million USD was taken from the Hyperliquid account, alongside 3.1 million USD from a liquidity pool. The hacker converted the stolen USDC into DAI and moved the stolen assets to new wallets.
