IMF vows to rein in El Salvador’s Bitcoin stash under loan conditions

The International Monetary Fund has reached a staff-level agreement with El Salvador for a loan program valued at 1.4 billion USD, aimed at achieving fiscal reform and economic stability.

As part of the loan conditions, El Salvador must maintain its Bitcoin holdings of approximately 6,190 BTC, currently worth about 675 million USD, despite IMF pressures.
