Indiana governor enacts law permitting crypto in retirement plans

Indiana’s Governor Mike Braun signed House Bill 1042, requiring public retirement plans to include a crypto investment option by July 2027. This move highlights the growing acceptance of cryptocurrencies in traditional finance.

The legislation aims to facilitate significant crypto inflows from retirement accounts, with analysts estimating that even a modest allocation could bring in up to 120 billion USD in new investments.
