The Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) announced a record dividend rate of 64.58%, distributing approximately 14 trillion VND (about $600 million) with around 1.4 billion new shares for shareholders. ACV manages 22 airports and is the investor of the Long Thanh International Airport project, with an expected investment of 336.63 trillion VND. In 2025, ACV anticipates a foreign exchange loss of up to 1.7 trillion VND due to fluctuations in the Yen, affecting profit which is estimated to drop by 23% compared to the same period last year. ACV aims to transport 119 million passengers and achieve a 2% revenue growth compared to 2024, even though pre-tax profit is expected to decrease by 17%. The Long Thanh project is expected to break even in 14 years and plans to start operations for its first phase in 2026, with a maximum capacity of 20 million international passengers.
