In July, first-time Bitcoin buyers increased their total to 140,000 BTC, reflecting over a 2% rise. Buyers tended to purchase aggressively during price dips below 118,000 USD.
Despite the increase in BTC holdings, retail interest in Bitcoin remains low, as shown by Google Trends data, indicating mainstream FOMO has not returned.
