Jilin High Court reveals case of laundering stolen money using virtual currency

The Jilin Provincial High People’s Court disclosed a case involving money laundering linked to telecom fraud, where four defendants were convicted for using virtual currency. They transformed over 789,000 yuan into gold, earning prison sentences of one to two years along with fines ranging from 10,000 to 20,000 yuan.
