JPMorgan rates Circle underweight with a target of 80 USD by late 2026

JPMorgan has begun covering Circle, issuing an underweight rating with a price target of 80 USD by late 2026, indicating a 55% drop from its current share price of 180 USD.

As of now, Circle’s market cap stands at 43.8 billion USD, previously valued at 8 billion USD during its IPO in June 2025, reflecting substantial growth but potentially inflated estimates.

Analysts highlight competition as a significant threat to Circle’s market share, alongside concerns about upcoming regulations and the rise of central bank digital currencies that could hinder Circle’s global expansion.
