Just Approved to Implement a $250 Million Data Center in HCM City, Vietnam’s “Big 4” Technology Companies Add a Series of Senior Personnel Ahead of the General Shareholders Meeting

CMC Technology Group (CMG) has appointed several senior leaders, including Ho Thanh Tung as Deputy Executive Chairman and CEO starting July 30, 2025, and Le Thanh Son as Deputy Executive Chairman and Group Governance Director from July 17, 2025. CMC also added two Deputy Executive Chairmen and three Senior Deputy Chairmen. This appointment comes as CMC was approved to deploy the CMC Hyperscale Data Center in Ho Chi Minh City with a total investment of $250 million. This center has an initial design capacity of 30MW, expandable to a maximum of 120MW, utilizing modern technology and aiming to develop digital infrastructure for cloud computing services and AI-as-a-Service. CMC plans to hold its annual shareholders meeting on July 29 and targets a 20% revenue increase in the 2025 financial year, reaching VND 9.8 trillion.
