Kazakhstan president signs law regulating digital financial assets

The law defines DFAs into types such as stablecoins, asset tokens, and electronic instruments. Licensed exchanges will be established, with the central bank curating a list of allowed cryptocurrencies.

This regulation seeks to promote the fintech industry, protect investor rights, and prevent money laundering, ensuring a structured environment for digital asset transactions.
