Kazakhstan tests stablecoin payments linked to USD for regulatory fees

Kazakhstan’s AFSA now permits regulatory fees to be settled in USD-pegged stablecoins, with Bybit leading the way. The initiative was launched during the Astana Finance Days 2025.

This development aims to position Kazakhstan’s AIFC as a digital finance hub, addressing the slow and costly nature of traditional payment methods.
