Kido seeks to divest entirely from company that managed Celano, Merino brands

Kido Group Corporation (KDC) has announced plans to seek a partner to sell its 49% stake in Kido Frozen Foods (KDF) for an estimated price of 2,500 billion VND. KDF currently has a charter capital of 741.6 billion VND, with Kido holding 49% or 36.33 million shares. After KDF’s privatization in July 2022, Kido’s ownership dropped from 100% to 49%. KDF managed brands such as Celano and Merino, but Kido confirmed it transferred these brands before the planned divestment. In a special general meeting in January 2025, KDC did not approve the sale of 24.03% of KDF shares and did not agree to transfer the Celano, Merino, or Kido brands.
