Leader born in 1978 holds key position at ACV: From a novice to Deputy Director of Aviation at just 26

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hung, born in 1978, was recently assigned to temporarily lead the Executive Board of the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV). He began his career as an engineer at the Post and Telecommunications Institute before transitioning into aviation, quickly advancing to leadership roles. Just three months after starting at the Northern Airports Authority, he became Deputy Director of the Bay Exploitation Center at the age of 26. From 2009 to 2019, he was closely involved in managing Noi Bai International Airport. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, he was appointed Deputy General Director of ACV while also managing Noi Bai Airport. With over 20 years of experience in aviation, he now faces various challenges in developing the Long Thanh International Airport project in both phases 1 and 2.
