Leading aviation service company in Vietnam establishes new entity to exploit ‘gold mine’ of Long Thanh Airport

Saigon Ground Services Joint Stock Company (SAGS) has decided to establish Saigon Ground Services Company Limited – Long Thanh with a charter capital of 333 billion VND, of which SAGS holds 75% of shares. The new company will invest and operate in the field of aircraft maintenance and repair at Long Thanh Airport, with 2 construction packages worth approximately 781 billion VND, scheduled for 18 months. SAGS Chairman, Nguyen Cao Cuong, will also hold leadership positions in the new company. In 2024, SAGS recorded a revenue of 1.518 trillion VND, up 4% from the previous year. However, the domestic passenger volume decreased due to the termination of cooperation with Bamboo Airways, while international passenger traffic grew strongly.
