LinkedIn CEO takes a second role under a new Microsoft organizational structure

Ryan Roslansky, the CEO of LinkedIn, has been assigned a new responsibility overseeing Microsoft’s Office productivity software unit while maintaining his position at LinkedIn.

Microsoft aims to bolster its business and email software market, particularly following its acquisition of LinkedIn for 26.2 billion USD in 2016, enhancing the integration of LinkedIn with Microsoft 365.

As part of the organizational reshuffle, Charles Lamanna and his team will move under Rajesh Jha’s unit, aligning with Microsoft’s focus on transformative productivity tools.
