The Chairman of Loc Troi, Mr. Huynh Van Thon, stated that 2024 will be very difficult for the rice export sector and the company is facing various pressures, including rising costs and financial shortages. Loc Troi is currently struggling to settle financial obligations with banks and suppliers. The company has not yet published important financial reports for 2024, leading to the restriction of LTG shares from trading. It is projected that Loc Troi could incur a loss of 524 billion VND in 2025. The company plans a revenue target of 4,200 billion VND, the lowest in more than a decade. The failure to publish financial reports on time has resulted in stocks being put under restrictions since October 24, 2024. Loc Troi also recently opened a new office in Ho Chi Minh City, marking efforts for restructuring after a long crisis.
