As of May 28, 2025, the Long Chau pharmacy chain has recorded 2,087 stores, an increase of 182 stores compared to the end of 2024, averaging over one new store opening each day. Revenue in the first quarter of 2025 reached 8.054 trillion VND, a 46% increase year-on-year and accounting for 69% of the company’s total revenue. Long Chau has achieved an average revenue of 1.3 billion VND per pharmacy per month, alongside a strong demand for vaccinations. FPT Retail (FRT) forecasts that the Long Chau chain will continue to be the main growth driver, focusing on technology and AI applications in healthcare. The company emphasizes training staff to provide accurate medication and dietary advice to customers. The plan to open 350 more stores will continue if financial conditions are favorable. FRT aims not only to compete for customers from rivals but also to raise awareness about vaccinations, as vaccination rates in Vietnam are still low compared to many neighboring countries.
