Major Shareholder Uses All EVS Shares to Secure Loan for EVS Securities

EVS Securities Corporation has announced it will use 16 million shares owned by its largest shareholder, Vu Manh Tien, as collateral for a loan from Nguyen The De. Related rights to these shares are also pledged. Mr. Tien owns 9.71% of EVS. This is not the first time EVS has used internal shareholder assets as loan guarantees; previously, 3.7 million shares owned by board member Vu Hai Anh were pledged for another loan. EVS has also resolved to borrow up to 300 billion VND from Vietcombank for 2025. As of mid-2025, EVS’s total financial debts reached over 329 billion VND, down 29% from the beginning of the year. However, EVS’s business performance has been poor, reporting a loss of nearly 8 billion VND in Q2 2025 due to market volatility and decreased revenue.
