In the first half of 2025, numerous companies recorded significant profit declines compared to the same period last year, with some nearly reaching a 100% drop. Vinaship (VNA) dropped from 35 billion VND to 400 million VND, while Nhà Từ Liêm (NTL) fell from 844 billion VND to 12 billion VND. The securities sector had four companies with steep declines, such as VDSC down 97% and Trí Việt Securities down 94%. Other sectors also experienced significant reductions, including tire manufacturing, investment, food and beverage (F&B), media, and electricity. Additionally, several firms reported substantial losses, including NSH Petro (332 billion VND), Novaland (261 billion VND), and Cảng Phước An (248 billion VND).
