Many companies report billion-dollar profits in the first half of the year

In the first half of 2025, many listed companies announced favorable business results. Dabaco Vietnam Group (DBC) achieved revenue of 12.537 trillion VND and a record after-tax profit of 1.013 trillion, 4.6 times higher than the same period. Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) reached 60% of the annual profit plan, adjusting the target to 2.5 trillion VND. In aviation, Sasco (SAS) estimated revenue of 1.531 trillion, profit of 280 billion; Airport Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) estimated revenue of 11.7 trillion, profit of 5.851 trillion before tax. Vietnam Airlines (HVN) estimated profit of 4 trillion before tax. The textile industry also grew positively with Vinatex (VGT) estimating revenue of 9.035 trillion, profit of 556 billion, and TNG achieving revenue of 4.073 trillion. Vietnam Rubber Industry Group (GVR) reached 40% of the revenue target with 11.5 trillion, and Gemadept (GMD) reached 2.76 trillion, an increase of 28% compared to last year.
