Market Capitalization of HoSE Increased by 690 Trillion VND in Half a Year: Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong Accounts for 80%, TCB and Gelex Contribute Over 1 Billion USD; FPT and VCB Decline the Most

In the first half of 2025, the total market capitalization of HoSE surged to nearly 5.9 million trillion VND, representing a 13% increase. Vingroup led growth with 210 trillion VND, reaching 364 trillion VND. Vinpearl has a market capitalization of nearly 170 trillion VND following its listing. Vinhomes increased by 92.5%, exceeding 316 trillion VND. Four companies under Vingroup contributed 549 trillion VND to the overall growth of HoSE. Techcombank (TCB) saw an increase of 66 trillion VND, while Gelex and Gelex Electric also experienced significant growth. Conversely, FPT suffered the largest decline of 51 trillion VND, while Vietcombank (VCB) dropped 36 trillion VND but retained its status as the largest on the exchange. Other banks also showed declines, whereas a few like MB and VietinBank saw increases.
