Masan Group Reports Over 80% Profit Increase in H1 2025 Despite Decline in Masan Consumer, Strong Growth in Pork Segment

Masan Group (MSN) announced an over 80% profit increase in Q2 and H1 2025, reaching VND 2,602 billion, driven by contributions from WinCommerce (WCM) and Masan MEATLife (MML). In contrast, Masan Consumer (MCH) experienced a 15.1% revenue drop due to disruptions in sales channels and new tax regulations. WCM achieved revenue of VND 9,130 billion, a 16.4% increase, and continued to be profitable, while MCH mitigated losses thanks to positive results in Q1. MML reported VND 2,340 billion in revenue, up 30.7%, buoyed by strong growth in livestock and rising pork prices. Phuc Long Heritage and Masan High-Tech Materials also showed improvement in Q2. Masan forecasts consolidated revenue for 2025 to reach VND 80,000 – 85,500 billion, indicating growth of 7% to 14%.
