Toy giant Mattel has decided to wind down its Hot Wheels Virtual Garage NFTs while assessing the collection’s long-term future. The company announced there will be no new releases for the foreseeable future.
Despite halting new series, Mattel will support existing NFT collections and its marketplace until at least 2025, allowing users to continue trading their NFTs, though transferring to other wallets is currently not permitted.
