The HCMC People’s Committee reported that total state budget revenue reached 709.915 trillion VND in the first 11 months of 2025, boosted significantly by the Can Gio sea reclamation project by Can Gio Tourism Urban Development Company. This project has contributed over 27.355 trillion VND (approximately 1 billion USD) this year, including 21.700 trillion VND in land use fees and 5.655 trillion VND in land rental fees. Officially launched on April 19, 2025, this mega project has a total investment of 256.11 trillion VND, covering an area of 2.870 hectares, with more than 1.357 hectares reclaimed from the sea. Upon completion, it will feature notable constructions such as a 108-story tower, Blue Waves Theater, a golf course, an entertainment complex, and an international port, as well as Vietnam’s first high-end retirement and nursing town model, Vin New Horizon.
