Meta has acquired Butterfly Effect, the developer of the AI application Manus, for billions of dollars, positioning this move as their third largest acquisition alongside WhatsApp and ScaleAI.
The acquisition was finalized in roughly ten days, with Manus previously valued at around 2 billion USD during funding rounds. Details of the transaction have not been publicly disclosed.
