Moonpay secures Wisconsin license, expands crypto payment reach in United States

MoonPay secured its Money Transmitter License from Wisconsin, allowing the company to serve residents in 46 U.S. States without additional fees on the Balance platform.

The license enhances MoonPay’s compliance, reflecting growing institutional interest in cryptocurrency, particularly since Wisconsin was the first state to purchase Bitcoin.
