CTCP Tập đoàn GELEX (code: GEX) announced that Mr. Nguyễn Văn Tuấn submitted his resignation from the Board of Directors to concentrate on his role as CEO. He aims to separate the roles of the Board and the Executive Board, and create opportunities for new candidates. This decision will take effect after approval by the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in 2025. Mr. Tuấn will continue as CEO and holds 23.63% of shares at GELEX. Since joining in 2016, he has significantly contributed to transforming GELEX from a manufacturer of electrical equipment into one of Vietnam’s largest investment groups. Over the past decade, GELEX has seen substantial growth in revenue, profit, and total assets, with 2024 revenue reaching 33.752 trillion VND and pre-tax profit hitting 3.613 trillion VND, marking increases of 12.5% and 158.8% compared to 2023.
