MWG learns the after-sales model from the automotive industry: Mr. Nguyen Duc Tai says “The big profits of car dealers do not come from selling cars, but from maintenance services”

Nguyen Duc Tai, Chairman of Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG), has announced a new strategic plan for the period 2026-2030 focusing on enhancing the quality of after-sales services rather than simply increasing the number of stores. MWG will provide lifetime maintenance services for products, similar to the model in the automotive industry, where significant profits come from after-sale services. Tai emphasized this transition to ensure devices operate smoothly throughout the customer’s usage cycle. MWG is also enhancing its digital platform with the Super app, generating revenue of 7 trillion VND in the first 7 months of the year, facilitating customer device care. This plan distinguishes MWG and aims for sustainable profit sources in the future, competing not on price but on better experiences and services. Starting in 2026, the company will transition, optimizing existing systems and developing regional markets.
