On June 17, BCG Energy (stock code: BGE) announced the list of candidates for the Board of Directors for the term 2025-2030. Among the five candidates are Nguyen Manh Chien, Deputy Chairman of BGE, and Ng Wee Siong, Chairman of BGE. The remaining three candidates are current employees from Nam A Bank. Specifically, Dang Van Hoa holds the position of Deputy Head of Strategic Management, Pham Thi Mai Huong is the Head of Network Development, and Nguyen Huu Quoc is the Deputy Head of Personal Customers. The candidates for the Supervisory Board of the term 2025-2030 include Nguyen Viet Cuong, Dong Hai Ha, and Hoang Quoc Trung. Recently, two companies became major shareholders in BCG Energy. BGE’s consolidated revenue in Q1 2025 was 297 billion VND, down 7% compared to the previous year, with a net profit of only 4.4 billion VND, a decrease of 92% due to adverse weather conditions and exchange rate losses.
