Nam Long Welcomes New Major Shareholder After Keppel Land Divests

Fiera Capital (UK) Limited has become a major shareholder of Nam Long Investment Corporation (MCK: NLG) by acquiring 10 million shares, increasing its ownership to 5.71%. The transaction follows Ibeworth Pte. Ltd (a subsidiary of Keppel Land) divesting 29.4 million shares, exiting its stake in Nam Long. This move is part of Keppel Land’s restructuring strategy in Vietnam. Ibeworth had been an investor in Nam Long since 2015 but is now no longer a shareholder. Additionally, Joshep Low Kar Yew, Ibeworth’s representative on Nam Long’s Board, has resigned to enable the company to select a new member suited to the updated shareholder structure. For the financial performance, in Q2/2025, Nam Long recorded revenue of 773 billion VND and a net profit of 97.5 billion VND, down 39% year-on-year. However, for the first half of 2025, revenue reached 2,064 billion VND, with profit quadrupling compared to last year. The company aims for total revenue of 6,794 billion VND and a profit of 701 billion VND for 2025.
