Nearly 600 Million VIC Shares Have Left Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong’s Personal Account for Clean Electricity, Green Taxis and High-Speed Rail Dreams

Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong has transferred nearly 600 million VIC shares to establish several new companies in the fields of clean electricity, green taxis, and high-speed rail. He currently holds stakes in a range of companies, including Vietnam Investment Group and several technology and transport service-related firms. Notable companies include Green and Smart Transport (GSM), which specializes in electric vehicle rental and has seen its capital surge from 3 trillion to 18 trillion VND, and VinSpeed, focused on high-speed rail development. Vuong has used 294 million VIC shares to invest in Hung Long and GSM, 165.6 million for VinEnergo, and nearly 136 million for VinSpeed. VinEnergo will participate in the LNG power plant project in Hai Phong, while VinSpeed is investing in the North-South high-speed railway project. Robotics companies like VinRobotics and VinMotion are also being established to expand Vingroup’s technology operations.
