Next week, the Federal Reserve Board will enter a “vacancy” period, with only regional Federal Reserve presidents speaking

Next week, the Federal Reserve Board will avoid public appearances until September 7, establishing a period of quiet before their upcoming meeting. The last remarks from the Board will be delivered by Governor Waller.

Despite the Board’s silence, regional Federal Reserve presidents will address issues related to interest rates. Notably, St. Louis Fed President Moussallem will present his insights on the economy in a speech scheduled for next Wednesday.
