Nvidia CEO urged the US to relax China’s AI restrictions

Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, indicates that continued US export restrictions on AI technology to China might result in a loss of $50 billion by 2026. He emphasized that if US companies are hindered, Chinese firms like Huawei could quickly fill that gap.

Huang pointed out that US policies directing AI development away from American technology could be detrimental. The US must consider the dynamics of a competitive AI landscape, as sidelining US firms could accelerate the rise of Chinese alternatives.
