Ondo Finance has launched Ondo Global Markets, a platform for onchain exposure to U.S. Public securities, addressing high fees and limited access in the securities market.
Issuers can create tokens backed 1:1 by underlying assets, providing liquidity akin to stablecoins and allowing access to over 1,000 NYSE and NASDAQ-listed securities.
The platform integrates permissioning into distribution processes, enhancing stakeholder decision-making while boasting a total value locked of over 650 million USD.
