On March 7, OpenAI introduced Codex Security, an AI tool that helps security teams detect and resolve database vulnerabilities, potentially decreasing the need for conventional cybersecurity services.
Codex Security can scan open-source code repositories for security issues and competes with Anthropic PBC’s Claude Code Security, which also identifies vulnerabilities and provides remediation suggestions.
