OpenAI set to launch GPT-4.1 and other models as early as next week

OpenAI is preparing to launch GPT-4.1, an upgraded version of GPT-4o, along with mini and nano versions next week.

Sam Altman, OpenAI’s CEO, indicated that infrastructure limitations could delay the release of the new models.

The company aims to incrementally enhance its offerings ahead of the anticipated release of GPT-5 later in 2025.
