OpenSea recorded 467,322 users in May 2025, its highest in nearly two years, driven by the successful rollout of OS2 across 19 blockchains. User activity is trending upward, with early June seeing 236,091 interactions.
Despite the user surge, OpenSea’s trading volume was only 81 million USD in May, a significant drop from 5 billion USD in January 2022. Polygon NFTs’ sales surpassed 2 billion USD, reflecting mixed signals in the NFT market.
