Optimism community approves proposal for OP token buybacks using 50% of superchain revenue

The Optimism governance team passed a buyback proposal with an impressive 84.4% vote in favor, aiming to enhance OP token value.

Starting in February, half of Superchain’s net revenue will fuel regular OP token buybacks, while remaining funds will support ecosystem growth.
