Optimism Governance confirmed it will transfer 6,400 ETH today to facilitate liquid staking for its treasury assets. This allocation is a key part of enhancing the OP mainnet’s staking capabilities.
Approximately 60% of Optimism’s total treasury assets of 21,500 ETH will be directed towards native staking on the Ethereum mainnet.
