Orange partners with OpenAI and Meta to enhance AI models for African languages

French telecommunications giant Orange has announced a collaboration with OpenAI and Meta to fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for better understanding of African languages.

This initiative aims to enable Orange’s users in Africa to communicate with customer support and sales in their native languages.
