Origin of the consortium of 5 technology companies winning against two giants VNPT – Viettel in the 2 trillion VND Long Thanh airport bidding package

The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) announced the bidding result for Package No. 5.11 concerning the installation and provision of airport management system equipment at Long Thanh International Airport. The consortium, including 5 companies: ETC, HITD, Elcom, ITC, and GTSC, won the bid with a value of nearly 1,939 billion VND, a 28.5% reduction compared to the estimate. The contract will be performed over 333 days, commencing right after signing in April 2025. This was an open bidding process where two bidders participated, with the VNPT – Viettel consortium coming second. All companies in the consortium have experience participating in many previous tenders in the fields of information technology and telecommunications.
